Science 5 SensesThe children learned about the 5 senses: taste, touch, smell, sight and hear. For sight, they went on a walk around the school. For science, we have been learning about the 5 senses: smell, touch, taste, hear and sight. For touch, the children put their hand into a mystery box and guess what was in the box which resulted in messy hands as they felt cold, wet spaghetti and jelly! The children had to find out which was salt and sugar for our taste test. They also got to try some sour lemon juice. We tested our smelling skills by trying to identify what liquid was in a sealed cup. These included vinegar, ketchup, shampoo, curry powder and coffee. The children really enjoyed these hands on activities.
