Food Dudes in Hedgestown

November 9, 2022

By Damien

We started Food Dudes in the school this week. It is a healthy eating programme designed to encourage children to eat more fruit and vegetables in school and at home.

Yesterday we got Bananas and Peppers, and today we enjoyed Carrots and Blueberries. Tomorrow we will have Apples and Tomatoes.

Everyone will have an opportunity to try something each day, and hopefully by the end of the few weeks will have found something new and healthy that they enjoy eating. And there will be lots of little rewards as well for taking part in the programme.

Also, thank you to our Student Council who are helping to give out the food to the younger classes.
