The children have been looking at Data in our maths lessons for the past two weeks. They have made pictograms, bar charts and tallies. 2nd class collected data from the entire school based on people’s favourite Easter eggs. Mini Eggs was a clear winner winning 21 votes!
2nd, 3rd and 4th class had a great time in tour in Flynn Park, Courtlough. They got to do Splatball, Archery and lots of Team Building games.
Congratulations to all in 2nd Class who made their First Holy Communion last Saturday. It was a beautiful day and a lovely ceremony by Fr Begley, followed by tea, coffee and cupcakes in the hall organised by the PA.
We have been exploring the topic of minibeasts. The children worked together to sort the insects/minibeasts into different categories. Our infants got to paint a garden and do some stamping to make insects for their garden.
